The Past is over!

Don't allow your yesterday's to cause your tomorrow's to be held captive...Your today and tomorrows can be the greatest days of your life.. We all have pasts but that just what they are the "past". Take every opportunity to reach forward and lay hold on the wonderful blessings of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:13, 14 KJV)

Fear Is Overrated... Don't Become Dependent On It.

Fear is powerful; it often times causes logical thinking to be thrown out the window, and allows irrational behavior to move right into its place. Thankfully Children of God don't have to let fear of anything whether it be people, situations, spiders, or snakes rule our actions. As a child of God we can stand up and declare, “Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in God”.

Psalms 56:3 What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.

Don't Get Off Yet!

This ride that we all call life is sometimes wild and crazy. At times we may see an easy way off or an easy exit strategy, but its not time to get off, give up, or quit. If we hold on and turn it all over to the master He will lead us out! When we hold on that's when we receive the "lively HOPE" of a greater tomorrow!

"Things" are not as important as they seem...

So thankful for the Word of God today...
In all times Good , bad, happy, or sad we must always trust in The Lord. Yes it's not always our first response, but its always the right one. He is not only faithful to hear my cry but every time we fall he is there helping us back to our feet. Don't allow "THINGS" to cause you to stop living the life God has intended for you!
Therefore I will look unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me. Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me. (Micah 7:7, 8 KJV)

The Choice is Yours...

Today we have a choice. We can choose to fall prey to the ways of this world, or we can put all our faith and trust in the Great Almighty! Rev. 1:8 "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty." I choose Jesus! "Take this whole world, but give me Jesus!"

Just A Note...

Just a thought from my devotion this morning...

Serving The Lord is one of the the greatest opportunities that we have been given. In this scripture we find some instruction on how to continue serving. 1st. Rejoicing in hope. We should celebrate the fact that we have hope of a greater tomorrow/eternity. 2nd. Patient in tribulation. We must not be hasty to give up or give in in times of trouble instead we should wait on The Lord to renew our strength. 3rd. Continuing instant in prayer. If there has ever been a time we should continue steadfastly in prayer it is today. It is by far the strongest weapon in a child of God's arsenal. ...serving the Lord; Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; (Romans 12:11b-12 KJV)
Blessings!
